I was partially expecting this, but I was still shocked, when these two suddenly rang the door bell one evening, after I did all my chores and cleaned my nails. ALL THE WAY FROM JEDDAH, they come unannounced. What transpired the following days was just enough proof that some things never change. Rahwa knows what I’m talking about. LOL! We tried to make the most out of their stay, and I think we did pretty
One of my utmost favorite places in Dubai hosted a trip to Abu Dhabi to get a tour of the Manarat Al Saadiyat. It was such a perfect day! Mako and I waited at Nadi Al Quoz, sipped on some Peach Iced Teas while we waited to board the bus.
Ellise, who is a friend of ours from High School was getting married in Dubai, so friends from Jeddah flew in a few days before the wedding to squeeze in a little time off before the big day.
Here’s what went down :
These are in random order, stuff I’ve been up to since September (jeez, I haven’t blogged since September… hating myself for it).
Basically a compilation of photos I took over all the weekends spent at the Beach. It’s a new thing I do at least one weekend, every week. Gotta love public beaches in Dubai. Not when there are wailing children, but you know what I mean.
Thought I’d dedicate a separate post on this because I like to be reminded that it’s such a healthy thing for me to do in all aspects, and hopefully this motivates me to pull it off at least every other week, if not every week. Man, some alone time like this did my soul good.
This is what I’ve been up to this past month!
Basically, this is us catching up with each other after we’ve left off here. These are photos I took (and some, my friends took) within the past 3 months (most recent photos will be posted on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, fingers crossed).
I’ve tried to post them in proper order but I’m pretty sure there are a few I’ve mixed up.
